      Keep in mind that most guitars with clear coat on the neck also have finish over the frets. The final fret dress and initial playing knock that finish off the frets, but sometimes it not too pretty.

      This guitar had the frets taped off, then they had to be "detailed" at every step in the finish process (that means the taped was carefully removed, the paint lines cleaned up, and then the frets were re-taped with every new coat of finish). That is a lot of time and careful hand work!!

            I have a dream guitar.
            And even though i am new to playing i know exactly what that guitar looks like down the the last fleck of paint.
            Its really cool to read about people who finally get theirs.
            Congrats mate!
