Great-looking guitar with a cool graphic. I really like how every Rising Sun graphic is unique. Any idea what the Japanese symbols on your guitar mean?

I like that!! VERY cool, and definitely brings back some memories!

I'll say it again...it's funny, I usually find the strats and you find the "V"'s....reverse this time hehe.

          Very cool man! ENJOY IT!

The character written on the upper horn is read "kaminari" by itself, and "rai" in combination with other characters. It means "thunder/lightning" (the Japanese word is the same for both).

The character written in the center of the rising sun is read "michi" by itself, and "shaku" in combination with other characters. I had to look it up in my Kanji dictionary, because I had never seen it before. I have no idea what it means, although the way that it is read suggests that it means "way".

Now before you guys go rushing off to your local tattoo parlor to get the "thunder/lightning" character tattooed on your forehead, I better tell you that it's inverted on the guitar. The correct orientation (or close enough) is in RR0849's second photo in his first post.

                    Hope this helps!
