Yes, I noticed that too.
I don't know what the deal is... but there are just some Charvels with double serial numbers. I came across a few of these.
Here's a thread with another example
And another example:
Both have the serial number 7201
And the next one:
Both have the serial number 7176
The most interesting part of these two is, that the work order number and the date of final inspection is exactly the same.Last edited by busdriver; 03-10-2010, 05:20 AM.

Thanks for pointing me out to it. I discovered several guitars with the same serial number. I can be sure that in most of these cases it's no mix up or something like that, because I've seen the neckplates and/or hangtags in person at pictures or at the actual guitars (at local dealers for example). It's a Charvel mistake.
These cases are: 6371, 6900, 6930, 7176, 7201, 7528, 7569, 8171 ... and now 7066.
However I think that the 8171 DeMartini is a mistake and I will remove it.
Interesing is 7176. I've seen plates and hangtags of both of these guitars. Same serial, same work order number and same date of final inspection. But one guitar is HSS and the other 1H. The HSS was located at a local deal and the 1H guitar was in an Ebay auction at the same time.
