Before this gets sidetracked, let me be clear: I'm not referring to any particular person or persons with these accusations. There are several folks who have been suspected of this kind of behavior in the past, so it could be any or all of that cast of characters. Or other unknowns who prefer to keep their collections "private".

So if someone is out there fuming, thinking to themselves that I just accused them personally of being a total sleazebag, get off your soapbox please. That's not what I said nor meant. I don´t know the system in the US. Over here a contract is binding. If the seller finally does not deliver he´d be obliged to compensate the amount needed to get a guitar of that value meaning the market price of that beauty.

Well that´s germany and secondly this only works if you can proove your position.

I will be honest with you, my man. Great score. I wish I had seen it, because I am a lawyer, and that fucker would honor his deal with me....or I would make alot of noise once I got fucked..and then realize the litigation is not worth the time, effort, expense and aggravation...like you may have to realize shortly.

With that said, I am a scummy lawyer...so I gave serious consideration to calling this store and offering at least $1500 for it. I would have then flipped it, doubled my money and bought a Charvel I really wanted. A 3 TITE in red doesn't appeal to me...but there are others that do. However, I assumed that either this thing had already shipped, or someone with the same line of thought had already beat me to it. I am not afraid to admit my thoughts...let's see who else isn't.
