How thick is an old school Star guitar body, and is it any different today? Did the ones with maple caps have a different thickness to the graphics?

Don't know about the old ones, but I'm guessing they'd be about the same as the new ones... mine is 1 3/4" thick.

My old DiMarzio was 1 3/4".I have an Vintage SD star body and it is the same 1 3/4" but the input jack is on the front of the body.Not that that is relavent here just odd.Really? well screw Mark Twain.Comment
