First detail I wanted to confirm was what kind of wood the body was made out of. I was hoping Ash, and that's exactly what it is. I was surprised to see that it was built in 99, 3 years earlier than I was told by the seller. Other cool features are the sculpted neck heel with the recessed neckplate, the backplates are recessed, & all gold hardware. Pickup is a DiMarzio Super Distortion {sounds GREAT in this guitar}. Condition is superb, and after the usual disassembly, cleaning, re-assembly, & set-up, it plays sounds KILLER! It's bad-ass, and I'm thrilled to own such a cool one-off Custom Shop piece
