New EVH/ Refin?

I have an update! I got an email today from the dealer that sold me the EVH in question. He said that he spoke with FMIC today about the guitar in question. He was told that Eddie's original B/Y Charvel is infact RWB underneath so they are doing all of B/Y like that? Anybody here heard of this?

I suppose that's not impossible, but I'd sure like to hear it from FMIC. If the dealer is just making that up in an attempt to satisfy you, that would be the last piece of gear I ever bought from him.
