To Bloodsplatter - I don't think there is plastic on the pickguard, just reflection of finger marks?

I dunno, I sure hope monte's Charvel is easier to play than Brad's Fernandes, which looks pretty difficult

yes...it is plastic on it. To be honest....I have only played it 2 times since i got it....I have been working long hours and always seem to revert back to my vintage white Suhr or my GMW with the Shannon mahogany neck.

I find the Charvel to be a bit thin for me....I might offer it up as trad for something more to my liking....like a thicker charvel neck or something.

LOL I think Brad's having an epileptic fit or something.
Though, I was talking about his original Fender and not the Fernandes model. Maybe the Fernandes is harder to play than the Fender?
