  • Hello! New old guy here

    Hey guys,

I used to be here years ago, maybe about 4 or 5 although I cannot seem to find any trace of my old self. I am the former owner of the pink star 1617 that is in tha gallery. Great guitar I miss it dearly. I sold it to a guy who had star serial number 1618!

I quit hanging here because I couldn't bear it anymore after I sold that guitar to go to a trade school to learn cnc machining and programming. It was well worth it but damn I loved that guitar! Bought it in about '87 or 88 from Guitar Center San Diego. It was originally sold to GC Hollywood. The og blue with re metallic lightning bolt paint is still under the pink which was a pro finish I always suspected factory. I always thought of sanding the overspray off to reveal the og finish!

Nostalgia has caused me to embark on the project of recreating it, well sort of I have an original SD Charvel rosewood neck I have ad for 20 years. No floyd and an OG phenolic nut blank.

So I just wanted to drop in and say hi.

That struck me extremely funny. I laughed for 10 minutes... couldn't breathe... my 3 year old daughter had to come see if I was ok... Thanks!!!
