Very suprising. Noone has packed better than Robert of all the guitars that I've received and I've received many.

That SUCKS! Every expensive vintage bolt-on I've bought I've gotten in the habit of requesting that the neck be removed and packed seperately. You'd think that guitar would be nearly indestructable, or certainly able to survive a rough ride, too bad...

Thats what I dont understand, to be honest. If I recall correctly, Rob made a big deal about how KE sent that EVH to him, and how he preferred it taken apart, etc....SO I assumed (wrongly) that it would be packed to high hell.

Live and learn.

It'll be fine, its just annoying as shit.
