I want a similar SD charvel w/ a carved swamp ash top on mahogany body. I think that's gonna give the perfect strat sound I can imagine in my head. fuller bottom than alder, resonant and open and bright on the top. mmm...
I've put a deposit on a Swamp Ash one several months back -- very excited about it. It supposedly should arrive in a couple of weeks! The five ash ones are all single hum with Floyd.
