Just got off the phone with DCGL. They had ordered 4 of these last November and just got them in. Ten minutes ago, 3 were already sold. Now, all 4 are sold. I'll post some pics when I get her later this week.

I called about this earliar and when I asked about the weight I was told 8.8lbs I decided to pass. I was told anything alder under 8.lbs is considered a premium upgrade? Congrat's that is a very cool piece!

Can we get more like this one, please? Strathead, multiple pickup & Floyd layout, very cool old school graphic. Major drool factor.

If we saw more of these - maybe mixed up with some solids, transparents, and rosewood/ebony fretboards - it'd be heaven, like 1984 all over again.

First off, congrats to Big D! That is a beauty!

Now, it seems like people are forgetting that unlike the production pointies, these stratheads are custom-ordered guitars. With the exception of NAMM, they are building what individuals and dealers order, just like back in the '80s. If you want rosewood, ebony, old-school graphics, etc., you can order them or let your dealers know how much you like them & maybe they'll do a run. I think we're seeing so much maple because that seems to be what has been selling the best, and dealers are wary of ordering rosewood boarded guitars and not having them sell. Me, I'd love to see some serious birdseye on the boards. In fact, I'd be hard-pressed to resist it.
