  • I'm sure this is a dead horse..Charvel EVH's

What was the verdict on overprice-ocity of these? I just picked up a couple "on closeout" for about $1800 a piece basically in "new in sealed boxes". Does that seem like a decent deal? Please save the "if you like it and it sounds good" sillogue for somebody else. The lowest I've heard of new was around $1650.
As far as I'm concerned there going to sit in the case forever...I've got plenty of players to beat-on, but just curious. I've seen a couple on ebay for around $1400-$1600 used-like-new. Is there any plans to discontinue the line in '07? Ja-think they will start to show up cheaper since they probably sold a gagillion of them...

Rules are a good thing to read, esp re: pricing.

Congrats on the EVHs, though. Great guitars.

Nothing listed about who, how or where...readed the rules. I thought I would get an apple pie from the welcoming committee.

Seems like every post mentioning an EVH degrades into a debate over "it's not worth the $$$$. I figured I could still eek out of 1/2 of the deal if it looks like there gonna hit the skids soon.

When I was in highschool (1964-68) we had a saying: "Apple pie makes me sterile" . I had and I still don't have a clue as to what that meant. And welcome to the board. And I have more Kramers than you do.
