Hi Guys,

I want to show you my new axe! It's a Charvel San Dimas Std. The SerialNumber is #6887. The neck feels perfect and the sound is fantastic!
A few words about the guitar:
Alder-Body, Maple-Neck, Ebony-Fretboard, Original Floyd Rose, 5-Way Toggle-Switch & 1 Volume-Poti.

To my Person: My name is René, I'm coming from Germany and I play guitar for about 12 years now. My Guitar-Heroes are Warren DeMartini and Robbin Crosby from Ratt. (I love 80s Hairspray-Metal!!!)
I worked at the MusicStore in Cologne and at a Charvel Road-Show I played a japanese Journeyman. From this moment I know: I WANT A CHARVEL!

From one Ratt fan to another, Welcome! Nice guitar. You don't see too many ebony boards on the San Dimas models fro some reason.

I thought you can easily order a San Dimas with Ebony-Fretboard. I got this guitar from a guy who bought it in July this year and the guitar is brandnew!!! No scratches, no dings or something like that. The condition is mint. Like unplayed. Are Ebony Fretboards on San Dimas Models rare?

As you say, ebony can ordered as a std option. However, generally people haven't done so, and therefore ebony fingerboards on these new Charvels are pretty rare....
