Hey, welcome to the board. That is a beautiful Charvel you have. But, what you have there is a 1987 or 1988 Model 4. Model 6's are neck-through and your model is a bolt-on. The model series are one of the best import lines that Charvel has offered. Awesome guitar. Your guitar was made in Japan.

first year ('86) Model 4s had dots. '87-88 Model 4s had sharkies.
