New Charvel Serial Numbers?

Sorry if this is an old question, but can you tell the year a New Charvel was made by the serial number? If not, what does the serial number on regular San Dimas's tell you?

JCFer busdriver has put together a registry of the new ones. You can figure out the year ranges pretty well and narrow down the month somewhat, but some of the plates for limited runs (good example was the first MZ mahogany run) are out of sequence as far as completion date. Here it is:

I have a serial number that starts with 344.... it's not on any list i can find and i'm not evne sure what model it is. Does anyone know anyone who could help. Thanks, Keith

If it's a 4 digit serial # on a 3D neckplate and it's 344X, then it's not a new one. Post some pics of it and I'll tell you what you have.

If it has 6 digits and says Fort Worth, TX instead of San Dimas, CA, or has no location on it, you have an import.
