Actually, this is a NAMM guitar. Sort of. No, not really. What I mean is, I ordered this on the very first day of last year’s NAMM show, when the strathead option was first allowed. So it took just about a year to the day to arrive.

I haven’t had much time to play it, but first impressions have been great. Thanks yet again to Matt at Matt’s Music, as well as the guys in the Charvel custom shop. They’ve both been especially good to me lately.

Very nice! They have been rolling in for you lately. With the new price increase I bet this one just went up in value!

Pat, again, very hot. You realize it's sister lives in FLA?

I do, Shawn. Actually, I had scanned the pic of that Star from the back of the prior Charvel tri-fold flyer. I added some comments to the scan, describing the changes I wanted to the graphic and sent that off to Matt along with the spec sheet, to be forwarded for the custom shop to do. All of this happened before I saw that the same Star was at NAMM with a strathead, which you later bought.

Maybe some day we'll get the flame sisters together for a jam.

WOW! That is sweet as hell! The pics make the ivory look like snow white. Either way, it is beautiful. Congrats, Pat!

Johnny - yeah, that's the flash working on an indoor pic for ya. I spec'd it as Ivory, as I wanted to have just a little hint of an "aged" look to it.

If you stand it next to my Snow White KV2, the difference is a lot more noticeable. I guess it's just one of those thing you have to see in person.
