There's just something about the pointy headstock that is just so cool. Whenever I play my Model 2 or even my Jackson RR3, just looking at that pointy headstock as I'm playing just makes it feel so cool to play, know what I mean??? It's almost like I have more "inspiration" to play. I even think I play better when I'm playing one of my pointy guitars, (then I just wake up from my daydream and realize I'm full of sh*t!) But I really do prefer my pointies to my other guitars including my 2 Fender Strats.

depends....i like pointys & stratheads. on explorers & stars I think strat headstocks look completely wrong. on strats strat headstock, dinkys either looks great.

I actually do have a question, sorry I don't mean to hijack the thread. My newer Charvel I got from Joe on this board did have a lower scarf joint than my previous Jacksons from the early 90's, and unfortunatly it did get damaged in shipping. I do think that if the scarf joint was higher it wouldn't have broke (it broke there and in a very wierd way, not all the way through, just barely splintering it). Is there a reason they changed it or does it really not matter and I just got unlucky? BTW, pointy's kick ass!
