My 2nd Charvel in 3 months... this is getting to be a habit !

Since 93' i have had only my Jackson Dinky. Then in December my Brother in Law buys the EVH Red/Blk/W art guitar. It plays great, and
i decide to check out the internet for more info. I find you guys, and
then Bizarre Guitar has an Eldred HRF, and i know enough of the long
waiting period that i decide to snag it, as my 2nd guitar in 16 years!
Yesterday, i take the plunge again, as you guys let me know that GC
was closing out the EVH art series at cost, so i picked up the "Blk/Yellow"
EVH for $1649.00!
I dont need to show any pics, as we certainly have this one memorized.
Im surprised at the difference in sound, and playing feel.
My HRF Eldred has the Custom 5 duncan, with allot of balls, and big
tone. The EVH is more raw, and sharp sounding, to cut through i guess.
Plus the neck is thicker, and is sealed with something also, as it does not
get 1/4 as dirty, as the unfinished Eldred neck. I like the D' tuner.
A much needed low end boost on this guitar imo. Anyway...2 great axes
in less than 3 months! Im crazy, since ive discovered this place!
I know that at least 1 more this year will come home. I hope this isnt'
habit forming? Shattered Glass, is kinda cool.... LOL

Congrats , I also have an EVH black/yellow and I love it. The neck is awesome, I have a pointy charvel but the neck is too thin and less comfortable imho.

Congrats Robert,you have the itch now. The custom 5 is the TB-14 right? I didnt even know I wanted a new Charvel,but I did. Love it!!! Once again congrats and good luck with it.

I have a EVH B/W not an art series, My was made by the man hime self Wayne Charvel. I have played the art series and prefer my Wayne over Fenders version. JMHO.
