LOL, but I will say this. The musiczoo prices you see on the site are very different from what they sell guitars for out the door.

Jeez. Just what the world needs... more 21-fret guitars with V trems.

Gotta agree with the majority here, most of the five designs were ugly back in the day; and there's no way some minor upgrades on options will convince me to drop that kind of coin on them.

The whole "Grover's back" ploy: For shame Jackson. For shame! Stop force-feeding us guitars and build us what WE want!

I will be interrested in seeing if they actually get any orders. At those prices, and with graphics that seem to not appeal to most, I suspect that the NAMMs will be around for a long time. I do like the spider web and bulls eye though.
            Jackson: DK1
Charvel: CS (CSB), SD (RGF), SD (Bullseye), SD '83 (HRF)

Is it correct that they will have a 1 3/4" nut?

Wow, whata deal ! You get a $1500 guitar with a $3000 signature on a piece of paper. Great way to utilize Grover Jackson !

Fender sure knows this guitar building and marketing stuff.

Because they are trying to capitize on all of us older idiots who want to re-live our youth.

I also think they are trying to force the vintage fender re-issue and masterbuilt business model on charvel players without having stopped to figure out that for at least some of us, that business model is one reasons we do not play fenders.
"I''ll say what I'm gonna say, cuz I'm going to Hell anyway!"

                      Bingo ! You nailed it.

This masterbuilt thing just wreaks of Fender. It's like if these super high dollar things are masterbuilt, are the other ones cheaplowpaidillegalworker built ?

I agree. All about the $$$ and they know if they build them, some of us will buy them. They are cool for what they are,but way overpriced.

Everything is a marketing gimmick these daze. If it ain't Slash pimping pedals, it's poor dead Jimi selling amps. Grover is probably living in a trailer park and jumped at the chance to pick up some extra bucks.

I wish somebody would just start a company that just builds killer guitars, no hype and an easy price tag (Peavey is close). I'm about ready to start scratching and taping off logo's, just because I don't want to be associated with all the corporate organ grinder monkeys.

Come to think of it, I don't see Fett and him in the same place at the same time... Coincidence? Hmm... I think not...

And Fett "HAS" been buying a lot of steak lately... Hmmm...
