      Bingo ! Also, I think it's more like 100%. Wayne was gone before the shops pin routers were even operational. If Wayne put together a whole guitar, it was with other companies parts, not true Charvels.

          I have one of these Splatters, with the plaque bought it new. I have to say they are awesome guitars and pretty exact to the original ones. I decided to go with a splatter black and red as these are unique and each one is one of a kind. Like a piece of art for some. I have had this guitar now for a long time and it still does not disappoint in anyway, same with my Charvel Shannon CS. As you see know today there are none for sale, did the prices go way down of course those guys who bought when low made out for sure. I was not one. I found the one i wanted and bought right away. Again could they have used a floyd version, or added this or that. but these were meant to be true to what was being produced at the time. They did have the Charvel Grover jackson Legacy tour-rented series which they relic'd and added floyds to them. i would be more then happy to own more of these.. great guitars again great history, unique collectible.
