                        Yea, the heel is thin at 2 1/8".

                        However, the nut width of the neck is very close to 1 3/4". Whoever installed the Floyd compensated for the narrow heel by installing an R2 (1 5/8") locking nut. Yes, if i took closeups you'd see gaps on both sides of the locking nut, but it works great...no problems with the E's!

                                Love it, but why use the round string tree all you really need is the retainer bar.That is such a cool color and the maple/ maple neck looks fantastic.
