83 San Dimas strat?

HI all. Im a noob here. Any opinions would be appriciated.
It looks stock. I was told however the neck needs to have numbers and a decal/logo.

that is the one on Craig's list. The neck does not look right to me.

The Floyd nut is too small for the neck. Looks like shit.
I hope it was a top mount.
Regardless, the neck looks wrong to me as well.

The only thing in the pic that is Charvel is the neck plate.The body looks like a model series.The neck plate is worth big dollars.

judging from the neck pocket I think the body is real but the neck is not.

At least the neck is birdseye maple

Look at the lower left (in the pic) of the neck pocket. The originals the upper part of the body came all the way to the edge of the front of the neck pocket.The model series had that little notch like this body.
In 83 my bet that it would have been a strat head with a vintage trem or a Kahler.

Neck is definately after market of some type -alot of old chavels lost their necks along the way.

What is the asking price??? hey you may find a neck that would match its WO . would like to see the whole guitar and body along with the back of the body to check out the belly contour and control cavities.
