Will the newer San Dimas appreciate in value?

They're all gone. But ZZsounds and quite a few others were selling them brand new below $1000, and yes with the brass trems.

With Floyd Rose, they use to go for $1099.

Look at this link, it's the last one I found, about $100-150 more than the lowest blowout prices:

Wow, and now the zZounds site says this "At this time, zZounds does not offer any products in Charvel." I get the feeling a lot of dealers lost money, or maybe broke even, carrying Charvels.

Sad. I doubt any one particular brand or model will 'definitely' appreciate in the future. Times have changed and there are just so many choices now. It's hard to directly link an era or a superstar artist to one sound. As a plus, though, we have so many great choices for guitars in nearly any price range.

By one of each and keep them all!
