How come DCG has a Lynch Sub Camo rom the run Matt did?
With a tag reading a final inspection date of 7-16-07!! WTF?

They state it is #3 of 10 and clearly say it is a Sub Camo Lynch replica.
They say it is new so it shouldn't be a trade in.

At least they said the body is alder, no " sorted for light weight" alder. Oops!! sorry Johnny.

Yeah I was surprised to see that one too. Unless someone returned it through Matt again, and Matt didn't want anything more to do with that run....

Possibly returned and repaired/refin'd. We've also seen how they also tend to build one or two "extras" for these limited runs. I think there were one or two more made than the 10 pieces ordered for the CAR run, too. That's possible, too.

I compared the work order number on the DCGL photo with the ones that Matt posted of this guitar originally in the Limited Edition section here. The work order number is exactly the same, not sure if that necessarily means this is the same guitar or not.

It looks like Dan's signature is in the same spot, and they're both missing the trem cover. Coincidence?

The fact that; the work order matches, they mention a 10 pc ltd. ed., FMIC specifically the Charvel/Jackson CS stated that they will no longer make artist replicas and the guitar has the same specs as the one Matt ran - makes me believe this is one of the original 10.

Why is it at another dealer's?

I don't see Matt selling Charvel CS Nazi axes?

Number three in that "run" was to be my guitar. After all the crappola, I asked for my money back. Now, I have no clue what Matt did with the guitar once it reached his place.

Good for them. I hope the issues had been addressed.

I don't see ANYONE selling Charvel CS Nazi axes. The JCF Crusaders cried long and loud enough to get the run refinished.:ROTF:

I remember that soap opera. They did not insult me, actually there were kinda cool.

Jason got the guitar directly from Jackson...it was on a list of available instruments. Its my understanding that Matt sent this one back a second time and it was then repaired and offered up to any dealer who wanted it.

I was going to go play it on Tuesday after work (had a deal worked out)but it sold in the few hours between making the tentative deal and me actually showing up (I didn't commit to purchase so no hard feelings). Bummer though, I've always loved that guitar and with no more artist replicas I would have bought it if it checked out as a player.

I'm confused. When you first said "I don't see Matt selling Charvel CS nazi axes", I thought "What the hell is he talking about?". Then I remembered DCGL had those 'Desert Fox' Charvels, so I thought that must be it. But your conversation with Stuka is throwing me off again. Were you referring to the Desert Fox Charvels or did I miss something here?

When these guitars were first delivered to me I received 10 of them, 9 of which had to be returned due to finish problems. I sold the one of ten that was ok. After they were repaired, only 7 of them were returned to me for some reason. Unfortunately 4 of those had to be returned again because of shipping damage. I sold the 3 that were ok, bringing the total number I sold to 4.

After all the problems with these guitars I figured enough was enough and cancelled my order for the remaining 6 pieces. So, depending on how many of the ones I returned were able to be fixed, there could be up to 6 sub camo's that will be popping up at other dealers.

Hopefully those dealers will have better luck with these guitars than I did!
