Pawnshop score

I thought that bolted steel graphic was something new from only about 8
years ago?

All of the bolted steel guitars I've seen have been from the very early 90's.

The serial # on the Rhoads, U00299, puts it as an early USA production guitar built in 1990. It has seen a lot more playing time than the Charvel though. The frets are worn down to nothing on it.

What an awesome score! I like both finishes, actually. And get the fretwork done on the RR - it'll be worth it to have that one in playing shape again.

The Charvel was priced at $1000. The Rhoads was marked at $800.

I paid $1400 for both.

After I saw this thread when it was originally posted, I've made it a point to hit pawn shops at least once a week. So far the best guitar I've seen was an esp ltd....
