Charvel USA Serial?

Hi all. I've got in my hands this Charvie which is a Fender Production I think.
It has the SN: 6399
Star shaped, color is red. 2 Seymour Duncan PUS (TB-4 Bridge, SH-1 Neck), OFR and bolt on neck.
Do you know something? Charvel's site is down ATM...

Did you change the pickups? They come with the Custom 5 (SH-14) in the bridge and a Jazz in the neck (SH-2).

I love my Star as well, but I wasn't crazy about the Custom 5, so I swapped it out for a DiMarzio Tone Zone. The Jazz in the neck is great, too.

My Star is 6768 and the final is 8/3/05.

Why is that? Is the serial given when ordered(build sheet) at the CS? Than say a later serial # is completed before that one,see what im saying.
