Wow, totally different neck on the original. I prefer the maple, strat-head though.

I'm curious too if any other members got one. I remember looking at DCGLs site a few months ago when they had these and the "green booger" Tigers, and thinking "If the wife would actually let me get one, which would it be?". Tough choice but I think these Desert Foxes are more unique.

Awesome guitare mate. I remember Jeff Hanneman went through the same thing with ESP about the original "S+Key" inlays on his signature model. They produced a bunch of guitars then the PC Police started bitching, then they changed the inlays to the Slayer Eagle.

there must have been something pretty groundshakin' to make jason @ dcgl change the order, especialy after it was painted already....personaly i would have left it as stated earlier, i think they would have sold a lot faster than they did just from the controversy.......oh well at least it got a strat head..

Jason did not change the order. He had not recieved the guitars in his store yet. He had pics from Charvel posted as "coming soon" on his site and someone posted them here.

FMIC/Jackson caught wind of the shitstorm brewing on the JCF and they repainted them before shipping them out. People here were calling for firings at FMIC for whoever approved the work order etc etc. It was really getting silly.

The upside down cross/satanic/pot leaf inlays were brought up in the original shitstorm thread. Apparently, it's ok if they offend the rest of us. They were ok with H.T. The WW2 German theme on the other hand was pure evil and had to be cleansed. Those who know what's best for us, must rise and save us from ourselves...

i think amir's dad was a pilot during the war, that is why most of his guitars had those graphics....

I agree, it looks much better than Amir pointy headstock version. Everything looks better with a strathead!
