That Charvel looks as pure and clean as a tall glass of milk! Dinkys look sleek and modern, but I prefer the traditional strat for nostalgic reasons. Plus the fact that it's a Charvel makes it atypical compaired to the usual Jackson.

                      Great looks!

I am thinking about buying a San Dimas Charvel as well in snow white as there is a store in Sweden that has bought a large number of Charvels, - all of them in Snow white which they claim Charvel will drop as a color from now. The price is half of list price and the only problem for me (apart from the fact that I do prefer 24 fretted fredboards over 22 fretted) that they come with the brass fixed trem and not the OFR!

They claim they bought them directly from Charvel since there was a collector in the US that ordered them, - 10 snow white in different pup configs and fretboard but all with the brass trem and the pointy head, but didn´t buy them in the end and therefore they got a great deal on them from Charvel. Here is a pic of one of them:

Still considering to buy one of them though, question is: how is the brass fixed trem to play with and can I even adjust the action??

koko, I believe you can adjust the height of a Vintage Trem

Charvel is only Custom Shop now, but when these were available as production models, they could be ordered by anyone with a choice of Vintage trem or OFR, a choice of any pickup configuration (H, H/S, H/H, H/S/S) and choice of maple, ebony or rosewood fretboard.

No, you can't. Only the saddles can be raised.

100% correct. Standard colors were Red,White,Blue. Custom colors were app $300.00 + upcharge like mine in Black Cherry.

                                I stand corrected!:ROTF:

I've only ever had one Vintage trem bridge, and that was a LONG time ago
