Thanks everyone! My first USA Jackson was a Snakeskin DK1 over the last few years I have really started to like maple fretboards. I figured it was a good time to order the sister guitar to my first Jackson.
The pickups are Duncan Mustaine Livewires. I have not plugged them into an amp yet, only through a Boss GS-10 so far. From what I have heard I really like them. The cleans are especially nice. I really like EMG's but have always felt the volume knob on the guitar needs to be up all the way for them to sound good. I don't think EMG's are as responsive when you roll off the volume. These pickups act more like passive pickups but still have a bright active tone. They bridge pickup seems a little darker than a normal JB. I might have more pictures this weekend when I take it out in the sunlight.
I have no idea how they did the inlays. It looks like they drilled them out and painted them. Then they used some clear substance over them.Last edited by Jack Napalm; 11-20-2007, 10:33 AM.http://www.jacknapalm.com/
