The styrofoam was used to raise Vai's hand up to were it would be if this were a std. strat. Now we have recessed routes to bring the bridge down in height closer to the body more like a standard strat.

it's a very cool guitar, but the shaved horn is like drawing a razor blade across my neck, the
regular strat body is perfection to me.

I don't know, and never got why anyone would give a shit if a thread is "resurrected". Stupidest unwritten internet "rule".. i could give a fuck myself. In fact often it's better, like when you are searching for specific info you get that end of thread with no resolution or answer to the original problem ect, that should piss people off more than a thread "resurrection". Fucking google rat race trying to piece together the answer from 5 unfinished threads is what's stupid.

Agree. Things have been resurrected here that predate my time on the forum, stuff I'd never see if it hadn't gotten bumped. The only annoying thing is when someone responds to a thread that is 5 years old answering a question from someone who is long gone...and it's only annoying if I missed the dates and responded to the responder.....but really, not a biggie.
