I've been playing both of these alot lately and had them sitting together when it occurred to me that they would look cool in a picture together.

What the bridge on the red one? Is that a Rockinger trem?

                  It's a Dimarzio high-mass vintage trem

My answer was going to be a mime that got the shit beat out him. Those are nice fore sure. Is that an Earl Slick model or did DiMarzio ever put one of those out? For some reason I seem to remember him having a guitar out very similiar to that.

I built it as a clone of the Earl Slick guitar out of Dimarzio parts...there never was a production Earl Slick model. I originally had an X2N in it like Earl used, but I just couldn't get used to such a high output, un-dynamic pickup. After several misses, I finally found a keeper in an old '77 Dimarzio PAF. It screams through a high gain amp and sounds sweet yet full in lower gain/clean settings.

Here is what it looked like when I finished the build last summer:

                      And here was the inspiration:

Those are the ads I remember. I remember thinking at the time that the transparent finish on the neck was cool. Nice job on recreating a very cool guitar.

That black and white one is nice. But the red DiMarzio is my favorite!

                            Yummy!

That gives me a whole new brand of GAS.
Can you smell what the GAS is cookin'?
                            hehe
                            (ewe!)
"Wow,... that was some of the hardest rockin ever. Hardest to listen too."

I was going to say a nun in a blender. Or would that be a bloody mary?

                              Nice guitars for sure!
