So, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. Remember, the Fender headstock is licensed by FMIC to JCMI and is an upcharge. (They may still be technically part of the same company, but they are run as separate entities, hence the licensing fee and subsequent upcharge to the consumer.) If they were to bring back model series (or any import line), I'd expect a pointy headstock, or the pseudo-strat headstock before an actual Fender headstock.
