I really dont care if it is,just would like to know. also I am ordering a musikraft neck for this body to build a replica. What are the neck specs of the new flat black models?
Looks like it.
The neck pocket dimensions should tell you a bit more.
If it's 2 1/4", it's most likely a Charvel body, although I doubt it's an 83.
If it's 2 3/16", it's most likely a Fender or a Fender copy.
Measure the neck heel.
Warmoth necks are typically 2 3/16" (Fender).
Which don't fit on Charvels.
I'm not saying anything for certain, but the belly cut and the shape of the lower horn & cutout look good to me, and most importantly "SVS" with that distinctive V pops up on legit guitars:
Pointies had 2-1/4" pockets, while many strathead necks were 2-3/16"...and even real early heels were 2-1/8" (pre-pros). The top mount jack...while it's not the norm, there are charvel bodies that did have that feature.
Another thing that might help would be to pull that 11-screw pickguard & check to see if there are holes that line up for an original Charvel 8-screw pickguard like this one:
