Negatory, Ghost Rider! I have a concentric pot on my '93 Jackson Kelly std Professional and I do NOT like it. Too f--king clumsy for me to manipulate in a live setting. Good suggestion, bad ergonomics-LOL!!! Took out the stock locking trem, pickups, pot and wiring and put in an OFR, a Bill Lawrence XL500 set with the Q Filter and a concentric pot. And I'm replacing the stock neck with a Jackson reverse headstock with sharkies. It'll be badass when it's done.

I might take Toejam's suggestion and put in the EMG 89 pick up along with a push pull pot thus eliminating the need to rout for and paint the additional pickup. But I'm not well versed in what the EMG 89 sounds like. I have set of 81s on my Hamer Diablo if that's comparible.

Get Mike (Learn Guitars) to do it.
He'll make it look real purdy.

I heard it used a few times in jest. Might be a quote from a movie. I'm guessing it's a made up word to get uptight folks all riled up.

You could always put some stickers on there and save yourself thousands of dollars in devaluation and rework expense.

EDIT: Not trying to be a jerk with that statement, but a lot of guitarists do that if you are just looking for a little more visual impact from your guitar on stage. Hey...it worked for Yngwie!

thats a great star as is. Go for some stickers to change the look. Then you can get me off if need be. Also, add a neck PU is a cool idea.

I wouldn't change a thing. Its your axe though.

Hate to admit it, but I've cosidered that. It's just the cheeze factor in putting stickers on a guitar. Did that when I was 17, thought I had out grown that. Know what I mean?
