That nut set up is the same as on the Lynch ESP necks. 1 1/34 nut width with a 1 11/16th floyd nut. When i called ESP about it they said that is how George likes it!

Yeah, I was fortunate enough to have the oppertunity to play that guitar and it feels pretty good. I like the wide neck with the compressed string spacing...

neck angle is needed for non-recessed floyds, and T-O-M bridges.

no neck angle is needed for V-trems, Hard Tails, and recessed floyds.

i'm really happy with my musikraft neck.

Carvin doesn't have a neck angle on their guitars, and you can choose between a recessed TOM, TOM/stoptail, recessed Floyd, Wilkinson or FT6 hardtail bridge. I'd assume you don't need a neck angle for any guitar with a recessed TOM bridge.
