No corners were cut, they should have always been priced there.
Solid colors, CNC bodies, bolt-on necks, no bindings, no fancy inlays, simple controls, etc. A basic Strat based guitar like Leo Fender intended them to be, mass produced & easy to assemble.
Interesting the advertising says Made in USA but the spec sheet lists Made in California. What corners did they cut to get the price point down?
Looks like gig bags instead of cases.
