Actully this does make me happy. My only thing is the colors, but everything else looks great. Is that an original Floyd too? price is great. I thought the pups were JB and 59? I hope the neck has a nice old school feal.

Aren't there some issues with the new Floyds? I thought they weren't made in Germany anymore or something. I remember reading SUHR or Tom Anderson opting for Gotoh or Pings instead of OFR's as the quality started to suck.

This is just what I was hoping finally a reasonable price.
I hope they play and sound well.
I hope these are at most 2 pc bodys as the american std fender strats are muti pc lam bodys or at least they were to meet the price point and do not sound good. I wonder what the neck profle on the back will be. I assume these will have a R3 nut.
Now the big question $1000 MSRP = $600 - $750 street price?

I hope the marketing people at FMIC is digesting what is happening here.

New products + correct price point + anticipation of colors + anticipation of features + correct price point + finally some variety on pick ups + some swag + no skulls + no zombies + no tits + correct price point = a heck of whole lot of excitement on a line many of us were wondering if it was alive or in life support.

Look at the hits and time stamps - fast and furious attention.

Methinks FMIC has a very good idea of what is going on. To me this line itself, along with the new American Standards, tell me FMIC is doing their best to give the customer what they want.

And I for one am thrilled!!!

I don't about the new Floyds being bad... I have a brand new Floyd (made in Germany) I installed on my KE3, and a OFR on my 83 Pacer... They both seem to be the same quality to me. But are 25 years difference in age. Maybe I had a good batch when I bought the new one??

I've been waiting for this to happen for a long time. The first production Charvels were too much and didn't really like the headstocks. These, are amazing.

Might getself the black with black pickguard, that way I can change it to 1 humbucker and volume without messing with the body
