I hope the marketing people at FMIC is digesting what is happening here.

New products + correct price point + anticipation of colors + anticipation of features + correct price point + finally some variety on pick ups + some swag + no skulls + no zombies + no tits + correct price point = a heck of whole lot of excitement on a line many of us were wondering if it was alive or in life support.

Look at the hits and time stamps - fast and furious attention.

There's just one problem: website hits do not equal sales. If the sales aren't there, the line dies again.

Judging from some of the comments in this thread, I see it dying one last time.

Why not put a tele headstock on the teles?

That strat headstock just doesn't look right on one.

I'd like to pick up one of the pickguarded Strats - hopefully a Warmoth Strat pickguard will work on them.

They are supposed to street at $999. So I should be able to pick up a used one in August for about $650-700

I don't think I have been this happy for a new guitar in a long time. Hopefully there will be a vintage brass trem in the very near future.

Either way, I will be buying one.

If they were less than $1000 street I would be concerned about the true quality. I mean they already are coming with just a gig bag. I think these will be great gigging guitars. They look killer. As long as they sound good and stay in tune they should be good to go.

Me too. Which is odd since I HATE Teles, but I really like the gold one (or whatever the hell color that is! I think it would look really good with ghost flames on it.) I may even get over my "less than 24 fret phobia" long enough to talk myself into getting one of these..
