I hate teles, but I have been hooked on this guitar since the first pic I saw of it... If you think about it, it's pretty far removed from a tele. The only thing tele about it is the shape and I won't swear that THAT'S not a little different.

You mean you can't go into the store and play the guitar? They expect you to buy it without even touching it? Odd.

I love that guitar in that color, I wish they had put a tele headstock on it though...

I thought the same thing at first. But then I thought, hell I already have Tele's with a "proper" headstock.

Part of what makes this guitar so cool is that it is different. And when I stopped and thought.....Strat head, Pagan Gold, Floyd, USA Charvel with a super cool Tele body for under a grand. Well suddenly it became a no brainer for this cat.

My pictures suck but here she is, fresh out of the FedEx truck this afternoon at my local shop.

Quality seems solid, neck feels fantastic (after a set-up), tone is *very* good (actually better than some of my more expensive Charvels). Very happy so far!

My local shop has 10 left (including a red SD1 and the Tangerine So-Cal) and they're willing to ship. If you want their name/number, PM me.

Hey Guys New Here...

The New USA Production is probley one of the best moves Charvel ala Fender has done.Note I never have played one yet but I do have a EVH Art and hopefully in a month I will get one of the Model 1-2H but think with a Charvel raw maple neck,Tone Zone or Ducan,Charvel Tele or Boogie Body Shape and a FR even if it is German for that kind of price I don't mind at all.I just cant wait to get my hands on one.

I was fortunate to play a san dimas 1-2h today and loved it, all the ones at the shop were already sold, but I'm the first name on the waiting list for new colors. I was just wondering what people who were lucky enough to get one today paid for it if you don't mind sharing. Thanks

With the last minute souring of the relationship between Matts Music and FMIC ... I nearly lost my pre-order for the Tangerine So Cal. Performance Music Center, who I switched my pre-order to told me earlier today they had ran out of Tangerines!

After I stewed for about 30 minutes and desperately searched ebay Performance called back and said they had one more Tangerine coming but it wouldn't be to their store until Friday. More days to wait, but it appears I may still be getting one.

Can't wait for Rob's pics to give me Tangerine So Cal fix until I can get mine.
