      • I was thinking, who knows w/the "So-Cal",under that PG? may not have to remove the neck,or even loosen the neck screws.

I really don't mind,I've owned numerous Strats that had the heel screw.
Infact my 2 Strats are like that now.

            COOL SIG BRO!
I am hearing rumors these are partially MIM charvels?
I've heard those rumors as well. Mike MacGregor (head of the Charvel division) was asked that at the show, and he confirmed they are all 100% USA-made.

Of course, that doesn't mean they're not being made by persons of Mexican origin or ancestry

to be honest i would not have cared IF they were partially MIM, as long as i am told up front by the company
I do not like being duped by any company.
that bothers me not the fact they are made outside the USA

                • just paid the balance on my so cal black at matt's now all i have to do is wait. I have been waiting for a new production line ever since i sold an 86 model 2 that i had in black that i had a kahler pro trem unit put on it. I loved that guitar and i sold it a few years back in a momentary lapse of reason hopefully this one will play the same or better to make up for that mistake.

it's the subcontracting to where ever, that can lead to bad quality in my opinion

Shoot! I just deleted my post! I'm a friggin retard, but I was just going to disagree with my self about the subcontracting because I believe the MIJ Jackson Charvel are subcontracted

I really respect that and that is why when I do get one of these, it will be from you and no one else.
The custom shop guitars are a completely different animal. With a custom the sky is the limit, this isn't the case with the production models.
