4 colors per year, with 5 shown to be made available means each model will NOT get one special color. And we know the first round's special colors, so that's already been wittled down to 3 colors left to be done per model, from 4 options left available.

If you're waiting for a color/model combination that didn't make it into the first round, you're gambling. From what we know now, you have a 3 out of 4 chance that your combo will be done later. And a 1 in 4 chance that it won't.

Did you all follow that? :ROTF:
Much to my surprise, I did follow that. Still leaves me with the same problem. Grab an orange now, or take a chance on a green So-Cal and maybe get left out.

Yep, looks like a one ply pickguard. I don't care for the one ply, the flat vol knob or the pickguard cut by the bridge. Those are the things I would change. Everything else looks great though!

I agree, the gap will show more obvious on certain colors, but the cut of the pickguard still bothers me.

I see what you guys mean now, looking at his pinky:it appears that the PG's contour is diff than the lower horns Radii.
However the Hi-Rez pix above of the pair look correct.BTW,the gap around the OFR/PG is minor,it's the color/combo that makes it stand out.

Yeah, I figured, but the placement still seems off. Probably just the angle. Regardless, that gap between the Floyd & the pickguard still annoys me.

It's you, those PG's are all punched out the same jig(s),its the angle/color thingy.

Is it me or are the pickguards or placement slightly different between these? It may be the angle of them in the pic or the black on black color scheme, but does the tangerine one seem smaller?

    Wow! nice pic.

On the color options, I wonder if every color will be circulated through every model?

I mean I want a Green So-Cal, but what if they only make the San Dimas or the Tele in Green? I wish I knew how the colors would be distributed. Cause if a So-Cal won't be made in green, I want the Tangerine So-Cal, replace the neck pup with a single coil, and call it a day.

    Charvel Poll

If you guys remember. . .Charvel had 3 polls on their website, prior to this line being announced.
    The poll asked:
    1) Fav Bridge
    2) Fav config (H,H-S,H-H etc)
    3) Fav HDWR color

Guess what? The OFR blew away all the other bridges in the poll,2H blew all the other set ups out,and black HDWR won as well. That's why they built them that way,the got info right from the players.

BUT now I am wondering if the 2 humbucker emg pickguard would fit on the so-cal in black.
