I am looking at the 3 models and was for either the tangerine (which everyone else is too) or the san dimas in black, but I was leaning towards the sandimas in black.
BUT now I am wondering if the 2 humbucker emg pickguard would fit on the so-cal in black.

My guess is they'll rotate those colors through each of the models at different times.
Yeah, they took the slideshow down from Slide.com. Can't find it anymore.

You've got the colors right - looked like black, candy red, candy green, candy tangerine, pagan gold, and midnight blue. (To my eye, the latter looked like the same color as on the custom Charvels from Winter NAMM. Not sure about that, though.)

And the slideshow showed a side-angle pic of a couple examples of the later batches - or at least possible prototypes - hanging on a rack with some custom guitars. IIRC, there was a candy green w/black pickguard and midnight blue 2 hum (no pickguard).

If anyone saved the pics from the slideshow, please post them

and as awesome as the 3 guitars are that they've introduced, I'm really surprised there is no one hum model. hopefully that will be added.

as it is, I'm dying for a green San Dimas in 2H.

According to an email I got from one of the customer service reps the other day, they're still not 100% sure which colors will actually hit production. I'm also hoping for a green, blue or pagan gold SD1 2Hum. It sucks just sitting around while the first batch comes and goes, but I need another black guitar like I need a hole in the head and the candy red just doesn't excite me enough to pull the trigger when I know there is potential for those other colors. I suspect the black ones will eventually be had on the cheap.

if you have a link to all the available candy colors they are doing, I'd like to check them out all at once.

At the end of this first three-month period, those three colors will then be "retired" and replaced by a new custom color for each model (announced just before release) for the next three-month period, and so on."

it seems that if you buy now you may see a real great color later that you would prefer?
