They're not going to look different in a pic. The questions are about the quality & hardness of the steel, the tolerances to which it is machined, etc. Will they survive 25 years of beatings and still work like a champ? I haven't played one, so I have no idea. My gut says something's got to give when you cut costs.
If it is indeed a PING(MIK)floyd and it seems questionable after a while i will swap it out for a OFR

I own a '81 san dimas two bucker strat and hope these will satisfy my " get another san dimas for under a grand gas" LOL
BC Rich is also owned by the same company as floyd rose. USA gunslingers are around $2,200 new. Close to the same specs as the new charvels. That original floyd is an expense upgrade.
Fender owns Floyd Rose. So that means they also own BC Rich? Not so sure about that.
