Well, for starters, the "Want To Buy" in your title is a quick trip to the nut noose.I want to depart this world the same way I arrived; screaming and covered in someone else's blood

What Jackson guitar are you comparing it to? Charvel is Charvel and Jackson is Jackson. That being said...they are great guitars. I'd suggest keeping an eye out on ebay. Prices on these have been coming down, especially since the announcement of the USA Production Series.

As for the DeMartinis, they are great guitars. Without knowing what Jacksons you have and are trying to compare them to, it's difficult to say how they stack up. If you're used to 24 fret neck thrus, they are completely different (obviously).
I have a blood drip and it is an awesome guitar. The neck is very comfortable, the DeMartini RTM sounds incredible and Dan's graphic work is the best. But what I have told other people regarding blood drips is each one is unique - some drips are very nice while others tend to be more drops and splatter. It's all a personal preference as to what you like. Make sure you get pictures of the front and back of the BDS before you buy it. I passed up quite a few GMW and Charvel blood drips before I found the right one. Here's a pic of mine.

Yea i really like your blood drip , i noticed your blood splatters across the guitar at one point, looks badass. i have played, and owned MANY jacksons, and over the years i've noticed that i like 22 fret guitars alittle better than 24, and although i do prefer neckthru guitars, the bolt on neck on my DK1 doesn't bother me at all. How is the neck profile, on the WDM? Standard san dimas, but i have never played one .. is it thinner like a DK1 or more like the jackson "speed" profile?

Guys, the nut width on the DeMartini Models is 1 11/16th. It is true that Warren's originals have 1 3/4. When he was down at the shop he chose the narrow nut width and the current profile. It's a smokin neck btw, I absolutley love it. The pickup is pretty killer too! It's a special guitar. All three have the same neck.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the info. Mike! It's appreciated.
I'm surprised you even have time to post, given how busy you must all be making, packing and shipping those USA production series Charvels. They seem to be walking out the door. Best of luck with that.Last edited by ken; 07-15-2008, 01:39 PM.
