Orange is cool, but I really want a flat Orange like what was on the old Spectrums. Those just look too cool. It's kind of like a modern, yet Vintage guitar. I wouldn't mind seeing them back actually, and they had neat colors.

shreddermon, I was actually thinking of hum/single, but i'm gonna stick with 2 hums for now. Too many options, not enough guitars

I'm even gonna have the 8 hole pickguard done just like in your mockup. I think i'm just gonna use a white fender volume knob instead of a dome knob though.

now how will that work? do the 8 holes line up with certain of the 11 holes in the body?

I ordered a black pg from Warmoth, just went with 11 holes as that is what the guitar is drilled for.

Nope. But I don't care. You won't see the other holes under the pickguard. And these guitars are meant to be played, not collected, so i'm not worried about drilling extra holes...

you must admit there is something funny about drilling extra holes to insert less screws.

My red one is in but I have the choice of the red no pickguard or a black tele. Man they are both cool I'm having a hard time deciding which to get.
One thing I did notice they started a new run of serial numbers.
                      Really? well screw Mark Twain.

Where'd you find the chrome hardware? I want to swap the black hardware on my jackson for chrome, but am having a difficult time finding a chrome floyd and chrome jackson tuners.

I had a chrome floyd laying around, and I ordered the mini-grovers from Stew-Mac.
