Had a Genuine Fender "American Stratocaster" mint green PG laying around.So I decieded to place on top,and ta-da.Besides the 1 screw (Floyd) the holes line up. The Charvel PG's lower horn is meatier than the thinner Strats.
I tried to get the PG to look white/off white so you guys can see that w/tangerine in the one photo.

I know Pat and Ralph E and couple other guys were changing out,hope this helps.

Nice. That's the look, but i'm still gonna send out a tracing and get the pickguard done exact. The lower horn area looks different.

I'm also gonna stay with all white, and have them bevel the edges, along with the traditional 8-hole layout.

Yeah, A template would be your best bet,I wasn't able to get it flat (volume knob,3-way) but looked dead-on.
Also the Charvel is different around the lower horn, you could see it.Glad to hear your getting beveled,will look much nicer.

I've got a brand new Warmouth white pearloid PG sitting here that is cut for a Strat with a Floyd, so I'm hooping that after seeing the pics above that it will fit with no mods

Doesn't look bad by any stretch, but IMO, when you start adding a strat type 3 ply pickguard to the already top mounted jack, it takes the look farther away from the hot rod/super strat style that I love about Charvels.
