  • Next So Cal Color Scheme?

Does anyone know (or speculate) the next color paterns for the 3 new models? I'm praying for a white socal like adrian smith's jackson strat head!

I wish they would do a batch in neon green, yellow, and orange.

It would rule if they change the base color (black) to white for the next run. then they could do more colors for the refresh.

When the slideshow was still up on the Charvel website, I'm pretty sure one pic showed a candy green SoCal and a candy blue S1 hanging on a rack with a bunch of custom guitars. If those are the next colors, then the Tele probably gets candy red or tangerine next.

And +1 to switching the "base" color to white every other run. That would be killer.

RobRR just mentioned Gunmetal Gray as a So-Cal possibility in another thread. I personally would love Pavel Purple on either the So-Cal or SD.

No. It didn't show white as a color.

screw it then. i'm painting a tangerine one. i'll take pics as soon as I do it. i'm also taking a black socal and putting a white pickgaurd on it, with creme pickups, and chrome p/u rings and hardware, ala dave murray.

I'd say it's unlikely that they'll do a white version if there's serious talk about doing an actual Adrian Smith model Jackson....

Wait, you're going to paint a Candy Tangerine SoCal white? :ROTF:

I'd like to see a SoCal in Pagan Gold for the next rotation, actually.

As for the slideshow, there wasn't a white tile, but there was one that was half-balck and half-white. Dunno if that was a bullseye test or if it was just easier to show the true contrast of those two colors by putting them side by side.

I'd say Pagan Gold for the SoCal, Candy Blue for the S2, and Candy Green for the S1 for the 2nd round.

3rd round I'd say Candy Green for the SoCal, C.A.R. for the S2, and Candy Blue for the S1.

Basically 2 new colors per run and one "model shift", where one of the previous run's colors gets used on a different model.

And yeah, alternating between black and white for the "standard" (black) one would rock.

                          Green on the so cal
                          blue on the s1
                          red on the tele

No there wasn't, bro. That was just a reflection of light on either the blue or black tile. I'm sure of it.

I dunno, I looked at that pic awful hard. I could see the edge on the white side clearly, and that reflection did not carry over to the preceding or following tile.

Plus, the tile was divided evenly. You can't get that with an overhead light reflection. You'd see the light bulb/fixture itself.
