Which New Charvel Style are you digging the most?

I liked the So-Cal sound better, both plugged in and surprisingly unplugged as well.

I always though pickguarded guitar sound better/louder unplugged because of the hollow cavity.

I always though pickguarded guitar sound better/louder unplugged because of the hollow cavity.

They sound louder acoustically because of the plastic "soundboard". Pickups do not "pick up" enough acoustic tone to make a difference in the amplified tone.


Count me in the SoCal camp twice (black and orange), but I do intend to add an SDS1 to the group.
