I'd just like to see a Tele with a Tele headstock and a bridge hum/neck single coil. I'd even settle for just the pup config with Strat head.
You sir, can go you fuck yourself and don't let the door hit you in the vagina on the way out.
You're such a pretencious, phony, boring, transparent, self righteous worthless fuck..You are amusing as a genital wart!

Top-loaded means pickguarded. The SoCal is routed to accommodate h-s-h, so changing it to h-s-s or h-s is up to the individual.

As for the Jake issue, his was a 3-bolt Fender, not a Charvel. As well, it had a matching headstock and an ebony board as well as a hardtail non-trem bridge.

A white SoCal, SD1, and SD2 would in no way be a "Jake" model.

It would not even be an Adrian Smith model - his didn't have maple boards.

Ok ... with that definition of top-loaded, what I'd really like is a no-pickguard HSS or HS.

I'd buy one in a second.

                  That would be rear loaded

Where were you a few years ago when the Standard USA production series came out? They are out there. They offered the Strat and Star bodies with choice of maple, rosewood or ebony boards, choice of V-trem or Floyd, choice of H, H/H, H/S or H/S/S pup configurations.

I was not saying I'm dying for pointies there, I was just saying OK if they did that.

I have a model 2 already, so my rw/pointy jones has long been met.

I meant rw would be neat with the strathead on a white two hum SD.
the guitar players look damaged - they've been outcasts all their lives

Which makes it even more different than a white SoCal, right?

I hope they do a single cutaway, mahagony body, set neck with a maple top and rosewood fingerboard... maybe in gold or sunburst... mmmm, thats what says Charvel to me.

I wasn't implying that a white So Cal would be a Jake replica, I was just pointing out they may shy away from using white in production models for marketing purposes of a Jake model. Maybe it wasn't a good point, but that's what I meant...
